About Deena

Deena is a dedicated advocate for those suffering from the impacts of personal injury and medical malpractice. She uses her extensive medical expertise to seamlessly translate complex medical concepts into real-world legal outcomes and positive results for her clients. Prior to attending law school, Deena worked as a medical researcher, studying autoimmune diseases, cancer, heart disease, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and addiction for six years at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Deena cultivates a unique focus in her practice by listening to her clients. This quality creates a deeper level of connection with and understanding of those she advocates for. She views her role as an attorney more broadly than simply giving legal advice and litigating cases. She is deeply passionate about helping people navigate the legal system in pursuit of their goals. She believes that preparation and a sincere and concerted effort to understand a person’s hopes, fears, and goals-during what is often a difficult time in their life-is critical to being a great attorney. While earning her law degree, Deena worked as a law clerk at Pickett Dummigan Weingart, Lewis & Clark Law School’s Small Business Legal Clinic Patent Program, the Port of Portland, and as a research assistant at the Oregon Innocence Project.
