Douglas Jennings, Jr. is a respected former state legislator and Compleat Lawyer Award recipient, who has been a legal champion for South Carolinians for over four decades. He received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1982 and began private practice in 1984. He is admitted to practice in South Carolina, the Federal District Court for South Carolina, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, South Carolina Association for Justice, American Bar Association, and American Association for Justice. He holds the highest possible peer review rating (AV) from Martindale-Hubbell and was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021 by the Premier Lawyers of America.
