About Frederick

Frederick K. Brewington is an attorney admitted to the Bars of New York and New Jersey, as well as various U.S. federal courts including the Supreme Court. He earned his BA in Sociology from SUNY Albany (1979) and his JD from Northeastern University School of Law (1982). He is a member of several bar associations and concentrates his practice in civil rights litigation, focusing on affordable housing, community revitalization, employment, environment, voting rights, and fair representation. His practice also includes criminal defense and personal injury. Mr. Brewington has been recognized multiple times on The Long Island Press’ Power List and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Long Island Business News. He is also an adjunct Professor at Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, Touro College, and serves as an advisor to community groups.
