About Garrett

Garrett M. Moore Sr. is a founding partner, admitted to the Connecticut and Federal Court Bars in 1981. He holds a B.S. from the University of Connecticut (1978, summa cum laude) and a J.D. from Georgetown University (1981). A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he is certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers (1993) and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. He has served as President and Treasurer of the American Board of Trial Advocates and President of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (1993-1994). He is recognized in Best Lawyers in America since 1990 and New England’s Super Lawyers, and received the Waterbury Bar Association's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018. He limits his practice to civil trial advocacy in State and Federal Courts, handling cases in multiple states, and has tried over 100 civil cases to verdict.
