Gordon R. Crawford has practiced law in Gonzales, Louisiana since 1964. He was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1964 and practiced before U.S. District Courts for Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana. He served as Assistant District Attorney for the 23rd Judicial District Court from 1975 to 1987. He has successfully tried cases or effected settlements for several clients in excess of $1,000,000.00, including a $7,635,778.50 judgment in a defective product case. He has served on the Board of Regents of Liberty University and is on the Board of Directors of United Community Bank, where he served as Chairman for many years. He is an ordained Baptist Deacon.
