About Gordy

Gordon R. Hauptman (1947 - 2008) was the founder of Hauptman, O’Brien, Wolf & Lathrop, established in 1987. He was awarded a Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1974. A tireless advocate for fair compensation in personal injury cases, he was known for his talent in advocacy and compassion. He established the Safe Ride Home Program in 1990, the first of its kind, to prevent DUIs and assist victims of abuse, with the firm covering the costs. Gordy was respected for his ability to connect with people and his dedication to community service.
