Irwin Silbowitz

Irwin M. Silbowitz was the founding partner of Silbowitz, Garafola, Silbowitz & Schatz, L.L.P. He established this practice with George Garafola in April of 1987. From 1961 to 1973, Mr. Silbowitz was a State Supreme Court Special Referee and Deputy Chief of the law department for Manhattan and Bronx counties. In 1973, he became a Civil Court Judge, and in 1975 he became a State Supreme Court Justice, a position he held with honor and distinction for 12 years.
