Stephanie Leavitt is an associate attorney at Silbowitz, Garafola, Silbowitz & Schatz, LLP, a New York law firm concentrating in plaintiff’s personal injury matters. With a strong commitment to client advocacy and a passion for helping individuals navigate some of the most challenging times in their lives, Stephanie brings a unique blend of legal insight, negotiation skill, and compassion to every case she handles. Her practice areas include motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, slip/trip and fall, elevator accidents, construction accidents, medical malpractice, product liability, and dangerous drugs. Stephanie earned her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor for the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution. She also took on leadership roles by serving as Vice President as the Cardozo chapter of The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law, as a Student Mediator in the Cardozo Divorce Mediation Clinic, and as a Law Student Advocate with the Sanctuary for Families’ Uncontested Divorce Project. Stephanie gained further experience and insight as a judicial clerk with a New York County Supreme Court judge and as a legal extern at a Family Law firm.
