About J.
J. David Roellgen, born in Vincennes, was admitted to the Indiana bar in 1979 and the Illinois bar in 1990. He earned an A.S. degree from Vincennes University in 1974; a B.S. in Business Administration and Management from Indiana State University in 1976; and a J.D. (Cum Laude) from Indiana University-Indianapolis in 1979. Dave joined the Indiana Army National Guard in 1985 as a member of the JAG Corps, retiring after serving 21 years as a LTC. His memberships include the Knox County Bar Association (Past President, 1996), past member Board of Governors for the ISBA, a past board member of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, ISBA, Past Chair, Family & Juvenile Law Section and current board member, Member and Past Chair ISBA Technology Committee, Indiana State Bar Association. He is a Fellow of the Indiana Bar Foundation and is admitted to the US Court of Military Appeals. He has served as City Attorney for the City of Vincennes multiple times.
