About J.
J. Robb Cecil is a Founding Partner at McGowan & Cecil, LLC, with over two decades of experience representing thousands of clients in personal injury cases including automobile accidents, truck accidents, premises liability, and Federal Tort Claims. Mr. Cecil chairs the Torts section of the Anne Arundel County Bar Association and is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Maryland Association for Justice, where he served on its Board of Governors. He earned his B.S. in Business & Finance from Mount Saint Mary’s College in 1982 and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1986. He was admitted to the Maryland bar in 1987 and also practices in the District of Columbia and the U.S. District Court District of Maryland. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
