About J.
J. Ryan Stewart decided to pursue a career in law to help injured workers and their families, specifically coal miners, obtain justice from their corporate employers. He works diligently to know the applicable law and become a subject matter expert on his cases, developing a close rapport with clients. He considers his most significant achievement the opportunity to represent clients to help them get their lives back on track. He was a Division I scholarship collegiate golfer at Marshall University from 1999 to 2004. He advises aspiring attorneys to focus on effective communication and choose battles wisely. Outside of law, he enjoys golfing, traveling, hunting, and attending sporting events, and is involved with youth sports in his community.
