About James
James B. Moore, Jr. (Jimmy) is a Georgetown County native and an experienced lawyer with over 50 years of practice. He graduated from The Citadel in 1970, received his Juris Doctorate from The University of South Carolina School of Law in 1973, and an LLM in taxation from New York University School of Law in 1981. Jimmy has handled all types of real estate matters, estate planning, probate, corporate, and business-related matters, including commercial and residential transactions and multi-family developments. He is a former member of The Super Lawyers list and has been named by his peers to 'The Best Lawyers in America' for over twenty years, including 'Best Real Estate Lawyer of the Year for the Grand Strand' in 2019. He is admitted to practice in all South Carolina and Federal Courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
