James M. LaLiberty

Jim is a graduate of Wesleyan University (B.A. cum laude, 1977) and the University of Maine School of Law (1980). He won two important, precedent-setting cases for the Maine equipment rental industry, establishing an inventory exemption from property tax, which resulted in millions of dollars in savings. These cases had a national impact, leading to responsive legislation in 16 states. Jim also handles a variety of general legal matters.
