About Jason
Jason A. Barlow, raised in Chesapeake, graduated from Old Dominion University with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature. He worked as a Deputy at the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office before graduating from The University of South Dakota Law School in 2000. His legal career began at Virginia Legal Aid Society, followed by eight years as a prosecutor at the Chesapeake Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, specializing in DUI, drug & gun offenses, and civil forfeiture. He later became a partner at Shilling, Pass, and Barlow before joining Parks Zeigler’s growing criminal practice in 2021, where he continues to focus on criminal defense, particularly DUI, drug & gun charges, and firearms rights restorations.
