John M. Shields

About John

John M. Shields joined Devitt Spellman Barrett as counsel in 2012 and became a partner in 2017. He has successfully completed numerous Federal and State jury trials, including over forty Federal jury trials. His trial experience covers discrimination, excessive force, malicious prosecution, false arrest, catastrophic injuries, roadway and intersection design, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, contracts, and assault. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1994.
