John Powell

Mike, a native of Madison, Virginia, attended the United States Air Force Academy and served in the military before attending the University of Arkansas Law School, graduating in 1973. He returned to Madison and served as the Clerk of the Circuit Court from 1973 until 1995. Admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 1976, Mike began practicing law in 1995. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar Trust and Estate Section and the Madison-Greene Bar Association, serving as President from 1985 until 2017.
