About Thomas

Tom Wilson is a partner at Early, Powell & Wilson, PLC and a lifelong resident of central Virginia. Over the past 10 years, Tom has dedicated his practice to serving individuals and families throughout the region with professionalism and a client-focused approach. Effective January 1, 2025, Tom joined his law practice with Jeff Early and Mike Powell's to form Early, Powell & Wilson, PLC. Tom has significant experience in criminal and traffic matters, having handled over 2,000 criminal and traffic cases and more than 400 felony cases. In addition to criminal and traffic matters, Tom's practice focuses on estate planning, estate administration, and real estate law. Tom earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Hampden-Sydney College and his Juris Doctor from Liberty University School of Law. He is an active member of the Virginia State Bar and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Virginia. He is also a member of the Madison-Greene Bar Association and the Charlottesville-Albemarle Bar Association, where he has served on the Memorials Committee for over ten years.
