Joseph P. Brent began his legal career in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Criminal Division, where he served as lead prosecutor in approximately 500 bench trials and numerous jury trials over a five-year period. His success at trial led him to the highest levels in the Illinois justice system, including arguing two cases before the Illinois Supreme Court.
