About Judge
Judge Jonathan Silbert’s practice is devoted exclusively to mediation and arbitration, and he is a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. He served as a Superior Court judge for 21 years, presiding over civil, criminal, and juvenile matters. Before his judicial career, he was a legal services attorney and in private practice. Judge Silbert has served on faculties for judicial education programs and chaired the Connecticut-Pskov Rule of Law Partnership. He has received numerous awards, including the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association Judiciary Award, the Connecticut Bar Association Henry J. Naruk Judiciary Award, and the Hon. Robert A. Zampano Award for Excellence in Mediation. He returned to Garrison, Levin-Epstein in 2012 as Of Counsel.
