About Kelly
Kelly A. George, a founding partner at Burch, George & Germany, initially intended to farm but pursued law after the farming economy declined. He received his B.S. degree in American Studies in 1985 and his J.D. in 1989 from Oklahoma City University Law School and the University of Oklahoma College of Law. After starting in general practice defending businesses and insurance companies, he transitioned to plaintiff's law, co-founding Burch & George with Derek Burch in 1997. His practice focuses solely on plaintiff's cases, achieving numerous significant outcomes, including large verdicts and seven-figure settlements in cases involving catastrophic injuries, gas line explosions, and medical malpractice. He has been named among Oklahoma’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers by The National Trial Lawyers and holds an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He has practiced law since 1989.
