Sarah Beth “Sorcha” Landau is a former Justice on Texas’s First Court of Appeals and an Assistant Federal Public Defender, bringing extensive appellate, trial, and commercial litigation experience to Roberts Markland LLP. She clerked for Hon. Vanessa D. Gilmore and is an adjunct professor at Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Ioana’s high school education began at Leysin American School in Switzerland where she graduated from in 2008. She then wished to remain in Switzerland and went on to Franklin University in Lugano, Switzerland where she studied Political Science and Marketing until 2009. She then transferred to Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 2009 and received her Bachelor of Science in 2013 with a major in Public Health and a minor in Psychology with a Certificate in Addictions. She earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University: Delaware Law School in 2016. Attorney Zane Bradford is a north Alabama native who grew up in a small town 40 miles north of Birmingham. He is also a veteran who joined the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve before graduating from high school. He attended the University of Alabama for his undergraduate studies where he was on the Dean’s List, and was activated before his graduation by the Marines for service during the first Gulf War in January of 1991. Zane served for three months at Camp Pendleton and 29 Palms, California with the 5th Marine Expeditionary Force during Operation Desert Shield/ Desert Storm before returning home. Upon graduating from Alabama, Zane spent another year of study at a business school in Liege, Belgium, Les Hautes Etudes Commerciales, where he took all of his classes in French. After a career in corporate sales, Zane attended law school at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School while raising his son as a single father.
