Hunter Riches
Scottsdale, AZ
Hunter Riches is a dedicated personal injury attorney at Warnock MacKinlay Law, handling both pre-suit and litigation cases. He brings a unique perspective to personal injury law, having been involved in a hit-and-run accident while riding his bicycle, where the at-fault driver fled the scene. This personal experience inspired Hunter to pursue a career where he could help victims who, like him, faced overwhelming barriers to justice through no fault of their own. He understands firsthand the frustration and helplessness of being hurt in an accident and takes that understanding into every case he handles. One of Hunter’s most notable successes involved a client who had been through three previous attorneys without success. Within just a few weeks of taking over the case, Hunter was able to secure a $100,000 settlement for the client. His unwavering dedication and creative problem-solving set him apart as an attorney who turns over every stone and comes up with every argument to fight for his clients. Hunter prides himself on developing personal connections with each of his clients, learning their names and stories, and providing the individualized attention they deserve. His mission is to ensure that no accident victim feels lost or unheard in their fight for compensation. A native of Arizona, Hunter lives in Gilbert with his wife and daughter. After graduating from Mountain View High School in Mesa, he spent two years in Cambodia on a mission, where he became fluent in Khmer. Hunter is currently the only attorney in Arizona who is registered as a Khmer speaker, further expanding his ability to serve a diverse clientele. Hunter holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Brigham Young University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was awarded the Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award for the Marriott School of Business. He then went on to earn his J.D. from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. During his first year of law school, his daughter was born, an event that brought both unique challenges and a profound sense of purpose to his journey as a law student. Outside of work, Hunter is passionate about fitness, particularly weightlifting and wrestling, and loves spending time with his family. His favorite vacation activity is scuba diving, and he enjoys constantly learning something new.
