Deborah Song
Norco, CA
My name is Deborah Song, and I am the founder of Inland Injury Law Center. I was born, raised, and grew up in the Inland Empire. Throughout my childhood years, I saw my peers, mentors, and role models growing up and moving out of the Inland Empire and into Orange County and Los Angeles County. Every time that would happen, people in my community would praise them and talk about them from afar, portraying them as images of success. Naturally, I strived to do that as well. I moved to Orange County once I started attending law school there. I got my first legal job while attending law school in Orange County helping represent injured victims and, quite frankly, fell in love with it all. That is all I did during my four to five years in law school. After I graduated, I passed the bar and practiced as an attorney at a trial firm, representing injured victims, for about a year or two. Being in the legal community in Orange County has forced me to become aggressive, offensive, and the cream of the crop. Otherwise, you simply will not be taken seriously and will be eaten alive. I could not help but think to myself, “Wow, this is what my hometown is missing.” Then, I would follow up with, “My hometown raised me and molded me into who I am today, but all I did was reap its benefits without sowing any seeds in return. Instead, I am sowing seeds in a community filled with strangers.” This is the heart and mindset behind Inland Injury Law Center. The name of the firm is not my name, because it is not my legacy. Inland Injury Law Center is about representing the unrepresented and giving back to my community the representation it has always deserved. Before starting Inland Injury Law Center, I worked at a law firm where I helped recover more than $ 50 million on behalf of my clients. Recognizing the importance of continuous growth and progress, last year I participated in the Orange County Bar Associations College of Trial Advocacy. Then in 2023, I attended the Trial Lawyers University and honed my deposition skills by attending the deposition boot camp developed by the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. I am incredibly excited about returning home and serving the people of my community.
