Anthony F. Santacroce

Anthony is a graduate of Quinnipiac School of Law and has been an attorney for over 30 years. He started his career as a plaintiffs' personal injury attorney at Solomon and Stanton in Meriden representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters and trials. He then worked at the Law Offices of Dahlmayer, Labiner and Santacroce as in- house counsel for Home Insurance Company, representing personal and commercial clients as defendants in personal injury lawsuits. His final position before joining in-house counsel for Nationwide Insurance was as Managing Trial Counsel for General Accident Insurance. As Managing Trial Counsel, he was in charge of the Connecticut trial office. Besides his administrative duties as manager, he maintained a full caseload and continued to do trial work. In 1989 he joined Nationwide Insurance as a senior trial attorney, in order to concentrate on trial work. In his 30+ year career with Nationwide, he has tried over 100 jury trials for both personal and commercial clients. He has also negotiated settlements on behalf of thousands of Nationwide clients. He has tried cases involving auto and boating accidents, including fatalities; dram shop (liquor liability); accidental drownings and fire legal liability for both commercial and personal clients. Some of his commercial clients were among the largest companies in the U.S. In addition to his trial practice, he brought many cases to successful conclusion utilizing arbitration and mediation hearings. Lastly, Anthony has been appointed to and has served as a Special Master in Hartford Superior Court for the past 20+ years. In that role, he has rendered written decisions in hundreds of cases that Hartford Superior Court has assigned him to adjudicate. After retiring from Nationwide, Anthony wanted to return to where he began his legal career in representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters. He is currently of counsel at Polinsky Law Group,LLC. He is involved in all aspects of litigation, including negotiating settlements and bringing cases to successful resolution by mediation, arbitration and trial.

Kamila Marek

Ms. Marek is an Associate Attorney at Wolfenson & Ashkenazi, P.C. She attended Ramapo College of New Jersey and Hofstra University School of Law. While at Hofstra, she was enrolled in the Robert W. Entenmanns Veterans Legal Clinic and served as a staff editor on the Family Court Review. Her student note, titled "Majority Rules: Establishing Postmajority Support to Disabled Children in New York," was published in the journal's April 2022 edition. Her current practice focuses on Matrimonial and Family matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Marek served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James J. Guida, J.S.C., in Bergen County, for the 2021-2022 judicial term. Ms. Marek is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, NJSBA Family Section, and the Essex County Bar Association.

From there, Maciej graduated with high honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earning a degree in Recreation, Sport & Tourism. After working as a paralegal with a small Illinois law firm, Maciej attended the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2024. In law school, Maciej helped organize and structure small business at the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic and was a managing editor for the Wisconsin Law Review. Maciej enjoys attending sporting events and concert in his free time, traveling abroad, and spending time with family and friends. Maciej adored Wisconsin during his time in law school and is thrilled to stay and work in Wisconsin full-time. Maciej also speaks Polish.

Janina Kaminski

Janina was born and raised in Poland, and moved to the United States in 1988. She remains firmly entrenched in the Polish-American community here in NYC. In 2004, she opened up a successful bridal dress store and ran it for several years. In 2014, she met Joel Fredericson, WCR, and began working with injured workers in the Polish-American community, aiding them in their workers’ compensation cases that resulted from their physically demanding jobs working with asbestos, and other hard manual labor. She has made incredible strides in WTC cases, helping her community access the benefits set aside for these heroes. She is also able to help them deftly maneuver through often challenging occupational disease cases. She works tirelessly and passionately to help her claimants. In the office, her role has shifted over the years. From answering phones to scheduling appointments and depositions, she now plays a major role in settling cases, bringing relief to her hundreds of claimants.
