Megan B. McCormack is a graduate of University of New Mexico. She received a Master’s in Bilingual Education in Madrid, Spain and is fluent in Spanish after living there for 8 years. She began law school at La Verne Law School in San Bernardino, California and returned to New Mexico in 2020 to graduate with honors from UNM School of Law in May 2022. She worked in immigration law and environmental law during law school before coming to FCHC as a law clerk in July 2021. Megan was the President of the Public Interest Law Foundation as a 1L and Vice President of the New Mexico Criminal Defense Attorney (NMCDLA) Student chapter during her 3L year. Megan loves to cook, take walks in the bosque, and read mystery novels in her free time.

Carolina Truesdale

Carolina Truesdale graduated Cum Laude from Texas Tech University School of Law. She has had a lifetime passion for serving families during challenging times, and law school only reinforced those feelings and belief. While in law school, Carolina worked in the District Attorney’s Office as an appellate clerk and volunteered for Lone Star Legal Aid. She also was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society. Carolina previously obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University, where she earned a spot on the Dean’s List and became a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. She is a native of Monclova, Mexico and is fluent in both Spanish and French. Carolina’s practice focuses on all aspects of Family, both original proceedings and modifications of prior matters. From Divorce and Child Custody, to complex property divisions and adoptions, Carolina has broad hands-on experience for those and similar legal needs in our community. Carolina is married to her husband who she met at Baylor. In her free time, Carolina likes to spend time painting, reading, and gardening.

Robert Suarez

He graduated from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2010 and has extensive experience in family-based immigration applications, including adjustment of status, DACA, U-visas, T-visas, VAWA, and military parole in place (PIP) applications.
