Transitioning from teaching and financial planning to law school at North Carolina Central University, he aimed to assist creatives and entrepreneurs in navigating legal complexities for a brighter familial future. Engaging in public service during law school further honed his skills. In his legal practice, John advises businesses on contracts, compliance, and financial planning, while also handling individual legal matters like estate planning and criminal defense. Jeff is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the North Carolina Central University School of Law cum laude. He served as editor-in-chief of the NCCU Environmental Law Review and won the Floyd B. McKissick Award for Leadership and Scholarship. Jeff grew up in Raleigh and enjoys hiking in the mountains.
