About Lorna

Lorna Geiler brings Meyer Capel the benefits of a distinguished academic career. she joined the firm in 1988. Since 1991, Lorna has represented employers before various human rights and labor boards. She has also practiced before the Trial, Appellate, and Supreme Courts for the State of Illinois and the Trial and Appellate Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of Illinois and the Southern District of Indiana. She has represented employers in union negotiations, grievances and unfair labor practices, as well as in union organization campaigns. Lorna consistently represents public entities in compliance with the Illinois Open Meetings Act and the Freedom of Information Act as well as other issues unique to governmental and quasi-governmental bodies.
