About Mary
Mary Anne Walling is a seasoned trial attorney with an impressive background in nursing law, as well as a registered nurse with years of clinical experience in critical care. She gives clients an invaluable perspective into the medical field when it comes to malpractice and complex personal injury litigation. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing, as well as a Master of Science in Nursing from Boston University. Mary gained experience working in hospitals across New York’s metropolitan area. Mary’s clinical career eventually landed her in her role as a Principal Associate for Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s Department of Surgery, giving lectures to medical staff alongside research on burn care and critical care protocols. Mary went to earn her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 1987, building a reputation as a strong advocate for patients affected by medical malpractice. She covers the initial investigation all the way through trial and appeals in medical malpractice and personal injury cases. Mary is admitted to practice in New York and in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
