About Rhonda
Rhonda L. Meyer has over 30 years of experience representing medical malpractice plaintiffs. Ms. Meyer has extensive experience with cases involving birth injuries resulting from negligent obstetrical and perinatal care. Her diverse experience includes medical legal cases involving radiation oncology, obstetrics, birth trauma, perinatal and neonatal medicine, pediatrics, pulmonary medicine, vascular surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, orthopedic surgery, infectious disease, nephrology, neurosurgery, and cancer-related medicine. Her cases have also included those of wrongful death, emotional distress claims resulting from fetal demise, maternal deaths, and birth trauma. In addition, Ms. Meyer has successful appellate practice experience. In 2016, she was named an Outstanding Woman in Law by Hofstra University School of Law’s Center for Children, Families and the Law. In 2015, Ms. Meyer was named a Long Island Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business by the Long Island Business News, in recognition of her significant contributions to the region. From 2017 through 2020 Ms. Meyer has been named to the lists of New York’s Best Lawyers®, and from 2014 through 2025, she was named to the New York Metro Super Lawyers© List. In 2013, she was named “Who’s Who in Women in Professional Services” by the Long Island Business News. Rhonda Meyer is admitted to practice in New York and United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Ms. Meyer obtained her law degree from Hofstra University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook.
