Matthew J. Murphy is a managing Partner/Shareholder at Murphy Law Firm. He aggressively represents clients in workers’ compensation, unsafe workplace, personal injury, wrongful death, trucking & auto accidents, and employment matters. He graduated from the University of Montana in 2009 with a political science degree and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Montana School of Law in 2012. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in the Mountain States in 2024 and 2025, and was named MTLA’s Outstanding New Lawyer in 2018. In 2023, he was unanimously voted co-chair of the Montana Trial Lawyers Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section and appointed to the Rules Committee of the Montana Workers’ Compensation Court.
