Matthew Sorensen

About Matthew

Matt was born in Honolulu and grew up in Los Altos, California. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2003, with degrees in history and economics and earned his juris doctorate from Santa Clara University in 2009. Upon graduation from law school, he moved to Portland, Oregon where he has lived and practiced since 2009. Prior to joining Fielding Law Group, he was an insurance defense attorney, representing insureds on behalf of companies such as USAA, State Farm, and Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Company. In his spare time, he and his wife cheer on their two boys in soccer, basketball and gymnastics. He is also a die-hard fan of his UCLA Bruins, San Francisco Giants and 49ers.
