About Melanie
Melanie Scheible is an accomplished attorney and stateswoman in Nevada. She began her legal career as a Deputy District Attorney in Las Vegas, handling thousands of criminal cases. She now focuses on criminal defense, including misdemeanors, felonies, appeals, and jury trials. Senator Scheible is a leader in the Nevada Legislature, serving as Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee and a Majority Whip. She attended Columbia Law School as a Public Interest Fellow and Stanford University for her undergraduate degree in Public Policy with Honors in Ethics in Society.
