About Michael
Mike joined KKC in 1989, after starting his career in New York City. For many years now, he has managed the firm’s Litigation Department and was named Managing Partner in 2021. While he currently focuses on business disputes, debtor/creditor rights, foreclosure, and employment law, he has handled a wide array of litigated matters in virtually every courtroom in Connecticut. Doing so has given Mike not only deep experience but a unique perspective on the litigation process he uses to benefit his clients, both in the courtroom and at the negotiating table. Whether it’s a tax appeal, legal malpractice claim, partition of real estate, or business dissolution, Mike has been in those trenches before. He is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Connecticut and New York as well as the United States Tax Court. He is a frequent lecturer to the Bar and professional organizations on business litigation and employment practices. In his free time, Mike is an avid golfer and skier who relishes travel experiences immersed in local food and culture. He has devoted time and treasure to a variety of charitable causes in the community.
