About Michael

During his time at San Diego State, Michael Hergenroether began his legal journey as a file clerk at a local civil litigation firm. It was here that he quickly recognized the power of legal knowledge as a potent tool for aiding individuals during their most challenging times. After completing law school in 2009, Michael returned to Fresno, dedicating his practice to various facets of civil litigation at a local defense firm. Over several years of active litigation, including jury trials throughout the San Joaquin Valley, he developed a profound understanding of the judicial system and its significant impact on individuals and their livelihoods. Throughout his career, Michael has litigated and tried cases across a broad spectrum, including automobile accidents, slip/trip and falls, wrongful deaths, and dog bites. However, he noticed a shift in priorities within insurance companies, with a growing focus on their financial interests over the well-being of injured individuals. This realization prompted Michael to shift his focus toward assisting the injured and underrepresented. In 2021, he joined Fowler | Helsel | Vogt. Prior to that, he practiced law at Stammer, McKnight, Barnum & Bailey from August 2009 to August 2021. Michael is an active member of the Fresno County Bar Association. He takes great satisfaction in meeting with his clients, understanding their injuries, and effectively conveying their stories to a jury, ensuring that their voices are heard.
