Although my father is an attorney, when I went to college, I thought I wanted to become an architect. I realized quickly that I was better with words than designing buildings. So, in college, while I finished my architecture degree, I also pursued a degree which would be helpful to prepare for law school, in political science. When I went to law school, I thought I would be a traditional office lawyer, but after 10 years of that, I realized I enjoyed trying to get justice for individuals.
