About Robert

Robert Garmo graduated from the University of Michigan in 1988 and the University of Detroit, school of law in 1992. He passed the Michigan bar exam in 1992 and began practicing law in Detroit. In 1997, he moved to San Diego, passed the California bar exam, and has been practicing law as a partner of Garmo & Garmo LLP since. His primary areas of practice are Immigration Law and Commercial Real Estate. He is also a licensed real estate broker in California and previously served as president of the immigration branch of the San Diego County Lawyer’s Association.
