Robert J Milavetz

Robert J Milavetz founded the law firm now known as Milavetz, Law, P.A. in 1963. He was a graduate of U High and the University of Minnesota, and earned his Juris Doctor degree at William Mitchell College of Law. He was a champion of the First Amendment, representing clients in cases involving free speech and conscientious objector status during the Vietnam war. He was a certified trial lawyer specialist, won many significant appellate court decisions, and was named a Super Lawyer and Minnesota Attorney of the Year in 2009.
