About Robert

Rob Huth attended Murray State University and Michigan State University College of Law. He wrote for the Law Review. He practiced at Dykema law firm before running for U.S. Congress. He served as a Harrison Township Trustee from 1988 to 1992. In 1992, he joined Robert Kirk to build a Macomb County Law firm. He has been appointed by the Attorney General as a Macomb County Public Administrator and Special Assistant Attorney General. He is a member of the Municipal Law Section of the Michigan Bar Association. He has served as Shelby Township Attorney since 1996 and Harrison Township Attorney since 2006. His expertise is in municipal matters relating to litigation, ordinance drafting, misdemeanor prosecutions, and general litigation. He was a founding member of the Michigan Government Turnaround Association. He enjoys spending time in Northern Michigan with his family, ice fishing, and snowboarding. He has helped Detroit Loyola High School since 2010.
