Ronald G. Baker

Ronald G. Baker grew up in Ahoskie, North Carolina. In 1971, Ron graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel with a degree in Business Administration, and in 1975 graduated from UNC Law School, with honors. Ron served in the North Carolina National Guard from 1971 to 1977, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant with specialties in light weapons infantry and medic. From 1975 to 1978, Ron practiced law in Greensboro, North Carolina, then returned to his home town of Ahoskie, where he practiced until he joined Sharp, Graham, Baker & Varnell.
