Ruth F. Jeannite is an Associate Attorney at Bell Law Group, PLLC, focusing on federal employee rights. Before joining the firm, Ruth served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel at the New York City Law Department, where she defended the City in employment and civil rights litigation under Title VII, the ADA, the FMLA, and the NYSHRL/NYCHRL. She managed all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, dispositive motion practice, and court appearances. She previously worked as a Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Society’s Tenant Defense Unit, where she managed a high-volume housing litigation docket and regularly advocated for low-income tenants in court. Ruth earned her Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 2020 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Pace University. Her combined experience in public interest law, municipal defense, and federal employment matters provides her with a strategic, well-rounded perspective and a strong commitment to client advocacy.
