About Scott
Scott McCarthy has been in practice for over 25 years, making him one of the most experienced trial lawyers in southern Wisconsin. He has successfully tried numerous cases, including at the Supreme Court level. He previously founded the Janesville branch of Murphy Desmond and served on their Litigation Executive Committee. Scott has won multiple million-dollar personal injury cases, including a $3.1 million verdict in 2009. His practice areas include family law, personal injury, wills and probate, criminal law, and general practice. He served as Rock County District Attorney from 1994 for two years, prosecuting five homicide cases. Scott also served in the Airborne Infantry from 1983 to 1985, receiving the Army Achievement Medal twice.
