About Sean

Sean concentrates his practice in general liability defense and construction law. Sean effectively handles all aspects of civil litigation, whether at the pleadings, discovery or trial stages, including conducting depositions, drafting and arguing motions and conducting trials and hearings. Prior to joining WSSG, Sean worked in house for a major insurance carrier where he defended cases from inception through verdict. During his five plus years, Sean used his prior prosecutorial experience and tried cases for his clients, as well as conducting depositions of plaintiffs, co-defendants and non-party witnesses as well as filing any motions necessary to defend his clients to the fullest extent allowed, including summary judgment and discovery motions. Sean also handled numerous arbitrations and mediations for clients during this time. Sean was known for successful results and high client and claims satisfaction. Sean began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County where he prosecuted numerous cases. During the course of his seven and half years as a prosecutor, Sean developed invaluable courtroom and trial experience to include presentation of evidence and cross examination skills. Sean successfully prosecuted several high-profile criminal cases including complex vehicular manslaughter cases. During his time, Sean also developed skills with experts in fields such as accident reconstruction and data collection. In 2015, Sean was awarded the Outstanding Prosecutor Award.
