About Steven

Steven W. Johnson is a founder of Johnson + Johnson Attorneys at Law, established with his brother Kevin C. Johnson to help people in their hometown of Lexington, SC. He attended The Citadel, graduating with Gold Stars, and worked in the insurance industry to fund his law school education. He graduated from Charleston School of Law, where he was an active member of the Business Law Society, selected to the Trial Advocacy Board (winning an individual award for outstanding professionalism), and represented his school in a National Trial Competition. He also received a CALI Award for the highest grade in his class. After law school, he worked in criminal defense, family law, and personal injury before co-founding his current firm. He was appointed to the 11th Circuit Fee Dispute Committee in 2020 and serves as Chairman of the Town of Lexington Building Codes Board of Appeals since August 2021.
