About Steven
For 29 years, Steve has worked as a trial lawyer, providing tenacious representation to people and companies. He has obtained a number of seven figure settlements. He has tried cases throughout New York in state and federal court and argued more than 25 appeals. He also counsels companies on contract, insurance, risk management, e-commerce, and indemnification issues. Steve frequently serves as a mediator and arbitrator. He has lectured at continuing legal education programs and taught deposition technique to attorneys employed by the United States Navy. He was selected for The Best Lawyers in America® 2014 in Insurance Law and named a Super Lawyer in Upstate New York for Personal Injury Defense: General since 2009. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in New York, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He frequently presents on risk management to industry groups, including the Ski Areas of New York and the National Ski Areas Association. He splits his time between New York and Colorado with his wife and law partner, Maryjo.
