About Taylor
Taylor M. Norman, a Charleston, West Virginia native, began his legal career at Bailey, Javins & Carter LC after graduating law school in 2016. He specializes in complex civil litigation, including trucking, product liability, workplace injury, personal injury, consumer litigation, medical malpractice, and class actions. Taylor has been recognized as the “Young Lawyer of the Year” by the West Virginia State Bar Association and a “Rising Star” by West Virginia Super Lawyers from 2019-2024 in Personal Injury for Plaintiffs. He is also recognized as one of “America’s Top 100 Personal Injury Attorneys” and a “Top 10 Under 40” attorney by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys. He has secured a $7 million verdict in a fatal trucking collision case. Inspired by his uncle, Lee Javins, Taylor is ultra-competitive, having played college football, and applies this drive to his legal practice, working tirelessly for his clients. He has interned at the firm since age 17, gaining extensive experience. His most significant achievements include being a father and securing the $7 million verdict. He advises aspiring attorneys to get good grades for scholarships and seek practical experience. Outside of law, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, kayaking, and coaching youth sports.
