About William
William N. Toomey was born and raised in the Iowa City area, obtaining his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Iowa. Admitted to practice in Iowa in 2005, he has successfully argued cases before the Iowa Court of Appeals and the Iowa Supreme Court. He is admitted to practice in all federal courts in Iowa. His diverse practice includes business litigation, real estate litigation, personal injury and wrongful death litigation, divorce and child custody litigation, landlord-tenant law, business formation and acquisition, and representing creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. He has served as President of the Johnson County Bar Association and other community organizations.
