Our client sustained 8 broken ribs, internal bleeding, broken sternum, concussion, bruised arms, & 12 stitches under their right eyebrow after being rear-ended by an intoxicated driver. Our client was driving with his mother when another driver recklessly changed lanes. This caused a 4-car pile-up. The at-fault driver was arrested on the scene for drunk driving. Our client was initially offered $7,000, which wasn’t enough to cover the medical bills from the accident. The insurance adjuster claimed that the ER bills were “overpriced” and continued to offer our client a low settlement.
