Jury Verdict against a drunk driver who left our client paralyzed. Driver actually backed up over our client ... then ran over her again as he fled the scene! The drunk driver showed up at the jury trial but left before the jury selection even began. I guess the drunk driver thought that he could defend himself and that if he left early, somehow the judge would continue the case. The case was not continued. The judge allowed the family to present evidence and the jury returned a verdict of $28 Million Dollars. This particular defendant was not very responsible in his careless acts. So far he has paid nothing towards the judgement. Our prayers go out to our client, and our client’s family.
