Case Details

Charles Hilty was a passenger in a Greyhound bus which was traveling on I-65 South in Crown Point, Indiana. The driver of the bus fell asleep causing the bus to hit a barrier. Charles was transported by ambulance to an Indiana hospital where he remained for seven days. He suffered a cracked scapula, a fractured neck and a knee injury. He was later transferred to Vanderbilt Hospital in his hometown of Nashville.
