James Crowell was traveling on Lynchburg Highway in Lynchburg, Tennessee, when a tractor-trailer driver locked his brakes and crossed his lane of traffic causing the collision. James was transported by life flight to Vanderbilt Hospital where he was treated for fractured arms and legs, broken ribs and fingers, collapsed lungs and internal injuries. After his release from the hospital, he remained in a rehabilitation center for over a month. Medical expenses totaled $635,927.22.
